Studio CHI

Studio CHI is a center for faculty development at DePaul University, which fosters and supports research at the interface between humanities and computing. "CHI," which rhymes with "sky," is an acronym for computing/humanities interface.

The Studio sponsors events and trainings, with two primary goals. First, we aim to assist individual faculty members who want to build their capacity for using digital methods in their teaching and research. Second, we aim to bring faculty together from across departments and colleges, so that they might identify points of contact and build networks to support emerging digital projects.

The Studio is open to all faculty and staff in the DePaul community, and most of our events are open to the general public. Please join us at an upcoming event or reach out to us if you do research or teaching that is complementary to our mission.
